Currently in our youth programs

Adult Conversation Class: John Padgett, For Fall, I have the six week study, “Knowing Who We Are”, lead by Dr. Laceye C. Warner, and the six week study, “The Gospel of John”, lead by Dr. AJ Levine. For Advent, the four week study, “Heaven and Earth: Advent and the Incarnation”, lead by Dr. Will Willimon.

Live Wires: Beth Bohara

· The theme for LiveWires for the 2024-2025 Sunday School year is, He’s Got the WHOLE WORLD in His Hands. Lessons will include:

– What we have in common with others from around the world, such as the Old Testament being the basis for three different religions

– Inequalities faced by some, such as food insecurity, lack of clean water, the right to worship

– Special units related to the theme for the Stewardship Campaign, Advent, and Lent.

Youth Ministries

We believe in providing a strong Christian background using scripture based curriculum, stories and songs. Lessons are engaging, interactive and creative. We supplement core studies with mission and service, nurturing and supporting faith in action.

Adult Classes

Adult Sunday school classes are led by John Padgett.

Live Wires

Live Wires is our elementary-aged (K-grade 5) Sunday school class. They meet for an hour on Sunday morning to explore different aspects of the Bible. Each Sunday starts with a period of group singing, followed by about 45 minutes of short, age-appropriate interactive Bible-based lessons and reinforcing activities such as games, crafts, and stories. Activities during and after regular Sunday School and Church hours help class members connect with our congregation, encourage socializing, and allow participation in Sunday School-sponsored missions projects. Mutual respect and acceptance are emphasized in this class in an effort to provide a safe, judgment-free environment for members of all skills and abilities to learn more about God and to strengthen their relationships with Him.

Fully Charged

Fully Charged is our Sunday school class for grades 6-12. They meet for an hour on Sunday morning to explore different aspects of the Bible. Mutual respect and acceptance are emphasized in this class in an effort to provide a safe, judgment-free environment for members of all skills and abilities to learn more about God and to strengthen their relationships with Him.

Currently in our Fully Charged class John Corbin and Shawna Bernard are looking at a book called "The Boy, the mole, the fox, and the horse" and matching up scripture to the themes in the book.
